A Busy Summer For Apex Roofing
On April 16th, Apex Roofing, a division of Apex Solar Power, was officially opened for business! The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce came out and did a ribbon cutting for the occasion. Now that the warm weather has finally arrived, our crew is out replacing roofs with beautiful Owens Corning materials. As an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor we have access to the best roofing materials with great color options.
Why Roofing?
As a solar panel installer, the majority of systems we install are on the roof of the home or business. Stan Dobert, President of Apex Solar Power, put it best, “Most solar installations are performed on rooftops, so adding a roofing service provides our customers with a simple solution to complete both projects for their home.” Over the years we have had many customers express an interest in a solar system but they need a new roof for it to be viable. This then caused a delay in them producing their own clean energy as they had to find a contractor to replace their roof. Now we are able to be an all in one shop by being the ones to replace their roof and install solar. Also, many of our installers came from a roofing background. This meant that we already had experts on hand that could head up a roofing division. The members of our roofing division have over 40 years of combined experience. We are very excited in the talent that we have and that we can now provide the same great experience in roofing that we do in solar installations.

Utility costs are on the rise and there’s no sign of them slowing down. Consumers are feeling the pressure of constantly climbing electricity rates. As inflation continues to affect nearly every industry and energy demand increases, utility companies are charging more, which means your bills are getting higher. In fact, many experts agree that utility prices will only continue to increase, making it harder for households and businesses to keep their budgets under control. NYSERDA provides detailed information on historical energy rates throughout New York State for example. These patterns follow the same trends nationwide.
